SD & D, Inc. designs and manufactures permanent point of purchase displays to support retail sell through. SD & D, Inc. also offers product design & development. Our products are custom-designed for specific product marketers, and we have more than 20 years experience in fulfilling the needs of such clients. We also provide design services such as concept renderings & manufacturing drawings. We are an industrial design company that covers many facets of production. Because our manufacturing is driven by design rather than production capability, we produce displays & products in a wide variety of permanent materials, including, but not limited to vacuum formed and fabricated plastics, machined metals and bent steel tubing, and wood simulations. We design and oversee the production of graphics as part of the displays & products we manufacture.

Designs in the Gallery

The majority of the designs you will see in the gallery have been designed and built on behalf of manufacturers, whose products are sold through major retailers, both in the United States and also overseas. Our customers manage some of the most significant brand names in their categories. We have also designed and manufactured displays for use by retailers directly. From time to time, we have produced complete store fixtures.

Range of Designs

Our displays range from relatively simple club racks for woods or irons to sophisticated superstore displays with backlit graphics and video. We have also designed and manufactured interactive displays. In the soft goods area we have produced fixtures for shirts, sweaters, hats, bags, calendars, dishes, sunglasses and pet products.

Facilities

Our offices are located in CA & WA. In these locations, we design many of our components and sub-assemblies. We also manufacture in China and Mexico if the size of the order and time frame allows. This offers our customers substantial savings. We offer shipping to individual locations across the United States as well as international.

Design Facilities

We have state of the art in-house design capabilities. Our design department uses some of the most sophisticated and top of the line 3-D modeling and CAD software available today (Solidworks and Rhino). We can produce close to real view renderings for our client's approval before any manufacturing even begins. Examples of our renderings are shown in the gallery. Our 3-D modeling flows directly into component manufacturing specifications.
